Established near Barcelona since 1988, Abzac Group is a major player in industrial cardboard cores on the Spanish market. From its two production sites in Piera (Barcelona), Abzac Iberica supplies cardboard tubes and cores to manufacturers in various sectors, such as paper mills, plastic film, textiles, and so on.

The company Industrial Sagarra was created in 1982 and is located in Breda (Girona). It brings together activities related to cores for industrial use as well as for the textile industry and spinning mills, following its merger with company Tubicon, which holds expertise recognised both in Spain and worldwide.

Recently the production of cylindrical containers, round boxes and small cardboard packaging was added to these historic activities.

Today, Abzac is pleased to announce the acquisition of Industrial Sagarra. The synergy created by combining our facilities and expertise will be dedicated to improving our range of products and services.

With this move, the Abzac Group is strengthening its presence in Spain and supplementing its offer, specifically by expanding the range for the spinning industry and enriching its Packaging Department with the range of cylindrical boxes and small containers in Europe.

This consolidation will allow Abzac Group to support its clients’ development with an even more comprehensive range of innovative and sustainable solutions.
