The Abzac Group and Nagel Paper, Inc. announced the merger of US business operations. Pierre Michel d’ Anglade, Abzac CEO / Marcus Baker, Nagel Paper CEO: “We are pleased to synergize our technologies, knowledge and experience to better serve the US market.” Nagel Paper has been in business since 1924, making it one of the oldest US family-owned converting operations in the country. Today, Nagel Paper is a leader in the US market of manufacturing and design of paper packaging products providing cardboard tubes and specialty packaging out of two locations; Swartz Creek, MI and Calhoun, GA. The Abzac Group, also a family-owned company, was founded in 1928, in South of France. With several locations in Europe and North America, Abzac has been able to provide customers with high quality paper cores and corners for nearly a century and is now excited about this opportunity to expand and strengthen its presence in the US Market. Pierre Michel d´Anglade is pleased to welcome Marcus Baker and all of his teams into the Abzac Group. The consolidated entity will operate under the name Abzac with a shared vision of providing customers comprehensive, innovative and sustainable solutions while maintaining their shared eco-friendly vision, to remain good stewards of our natural resources and environment. Marcus Baker will lead all US operations including the three current locations: Swartz Creek, MI, Carrolton, KY, and Calhoun, GA.
